Fly: Mias and Elle - Chapter 14
                                             Chapter 14

         "Welcome, guest of Mathias," Their father spoke in a deep voice, and gestured for
them to sit. "Elliot, servant of Mathias, welcome to my estate. I am Scercias Decivus."

         Elle hesitated, being addressed by their father, and bowed slightly, knowing not
what to do.

         "No need to bow to me," Scercias said, putting up a hand, "though you may be
servant to Mathias, you are a guest here." Elle glanced nervously to Mias who was
standing by two chairs. Tovi had already seated himself, toes barely brushing the floor.

         Elle awoke on the stone floor by the door. She had stayed there through the night
until her body forced her to sleep. Her muscles were sore and tight, begging for a more
comfortable surface to lie on. She pushed herself up and tried the door, even though she
knew it would still be locked – and it was. Her ankle throbbed dully and she grabbed the
tin of medicine. She dropped two small pills into her mouth and swallowed. 'I guess I'll
sleep a little longer...' she thought, and walked to the bed. She pulled the drapes
closed at the foot of the bed so that she woul

                                             Chapter 21

          "Look! Up ahead!" Tovi called, pointing at the ground. Mias squinted slightly and
saw the clear imprints of carriage wheels and a pair of hoof prints. The damn kid had
better eyesight too. Mias, for the briefest of moments, wondered if he really was getting old.

                                             Chapter 7

          Elle's heart nearly stopped. The only voice she ever expected to hear – if any –
was Mias's. This one definitely was not his. Elle, as slow as she could, turned to face
the man behind her, only to find that it was not a man... At least she thought it wasn't
a man... Not completely, at least.

Time: approx. 9 hrs.

Digitally painted directly onto the rough drawing. I just wanted to dabble around with a different style and play with colors. I definitely want to keep her green eyes and brunette hair... Still iffy about the colors of her dress.
(I had to reference Cloud of Darkness's hands... Diabolical hands are no fun to draw... ;v; )

Just imagine how ridiculously awesome this would be if I had a tablet!! (And how much faster I could have finished it.)
All done with an old-ass PAINTSHOP-FREAKIN'-PRO and a MOUSE.

So who is this? Well, she doesn't have a name... yet...

I should probably get on that... (Suggestions~?)

Because guess what guys -- She maaaaaay possibly show up some time in my "Mias and Elle" fan fiction.

I have to use a lot of visual references for hands -- rarely can I draw them correctly if I don't have a reference to look at.

That's a good idea.
Though I think that's sort of the case for everything, it's always easier with a good reference.
Might I inquire where you get your references from? I have a hell of a time finding good sources ^^;

I use a lot of references from Tetsuya Nomura's work. I also fish through all the hundreds and thousands of hand stock images here in order to get good references.

Wow! She's gorgeous! I love her hands and the pose it great! Oh my god! In your Mias and Elle fic? And we'll hate her!? I love her already!!! Names wise she instantly struck me as something oldish and celtic like Rhiannon but she needs to be something far more epic than that. Oh gosh I can't wait to see what you do with her! She looks like she could be mischief!

I couldn't help it. I redid her design (the first one didn't look at all sinister) and I just had to share it! She's going to be an interesting character to say the least, and she's going to shift the story dramatically (taking what is usually Elias's job?! Le gasp!) And yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. She is coming from a different continent of their world, so she will be coming from a different culture.
